Using a snapshot analysis, we represented the amount of two foci cells as a function of cell size to visualize the dynamics of separation of chromosomal loci during the cell cycle. A slight delay is observed for loci of the left chromosome arm, whose dynamics of separation are identical to those of the WT strain.However, in the absence of both condensins, a strong delay in separation of loci located in the chromosome arms is observed.
